Ribbon Lengths are very versatile and can be used for a variety of reasons.

Most commonly the ribbon is used in the tail of a horse, enabling the rider to easily communicate a horse's situation.

Typically the colour of the ribbon length indicates:

Red - horse/pony liable to kick.

Green - horse/pony young or green (inexperienced).

White - horse/pony is for sale.

Yellow or Blue - horse/pony is a stallion.

Each ribbon length is approximately 1 metre long.
